What is a day Centre?

Our day centre is a safe, friendly place where older people can spend the day socialising, enjoying activities, and receiving support. It helps reduce isolation and provides families and carers with valuable respite

Who can attend the Day Centre?

Our centre welcomes older adults who may benefit from companionship, structured activities, a warm meal, and a supportive environment. We can discuss individual needs during the assessment.

How do I Become a Member?

Simply complete our online form.
We will invite you for an assessment at the centre, followed by a trial day if suitable.
If you enjoy your visit and wish to continue, we’ll complete the final paperwork and welcome you as a member.

Do you provide Transport?

Yes we provide transport within the local area. Please contact us to check if we cover where you live and if we have availability.

What activities do you offer?

We run a wide range of daily activities such as:

·       Arts and crafts

·       Games and quizzes

·       Gentle exercise

·       Music and singing

·       Reminiscence sessions

·       Seasonal events and celebrations

Activities are tailored to our members’ abilities and preferences

Are meals and refreshments provided?

Yes. We offer tea, coffee, snacks, and a nutritious cooked lunch each day.
Please let us know about any allergies or dietary needs.

What are your opening hours?

Our sessions run Monday to Friday, 10.30 am – 2.30pm

Our office is open Monday to Friday 9.00am - 4.00pm

Can family members visit?

Yes we welcome families and carers to visit, especially during the assessment or trial period.
We want everyone to feel confident and comfortable with the support we provide

How much does it cost to attend?

Fees depend on the services you choose.
Please enquire for current prices

Do you offer trial days?

Yes. After your assessment, we invite you to join us for a trial day.
This helps you experience the atmosphere and decide if the centre is right for you.

What should I bring to the day Centre?

Comfortable clothing, any personal items needed, and medication if applicable.
We provide all materials for activities

What support is available for personal care?

We are not able to provide personal care, but we can support members with mobility, meals, and general wellbeing.

What if a member has medical needs or needs medication?

We will discuss any medical requirements during the assessment.
We cannot administer medication, but members may bring their medications and take them independently.
